It all started with the desire of the Marquis of Villamarta to build a house for their service personnel with his habitual residence. He commissioned architect Anibal Gonzales, who at that time
was not known, although it later became the most emblematic of the city.
The estate was designed and built in the early twentieth century but after 100 years and low maintenance use state of the same brushed ruin as you can see in the pictures.
After reaching an agreement with the old rental tenants for eviction in 2010 is in January 2011 when work began lasting until March 2012, the month in which it ends, in a simple but, brilliant, consolidation and reform this Mudejar style building.
